Jose Bautista Agrees to 1-Year Contract with Mets 

Jose Bautista agreeing to a one-year contract with the New York Mets.

 Jose Bautista signed a 1 year / $545,000 contract with the New York Mets.

 He will be available for Tuesday's game against the Miami Marlins.
Jose Bautista got here on time. He'll start in left field tonight for the Mets, and bat fifth.

 By the top of the third, Bautista had one run and a single to his name. 





 Bautista had signed with the Atlanta Braves in mid-April but was released after about a month of minimal success. 

 Bautista hit two home runs in 12 games 

 Bautista has a 143 batting average 
He hit 40 home runs for the Toronto Blue Jays just three years ago in 2015.
Unfortunately, he couldn't find the same success in limited playing time in Atlanta.

Shahid was dressed in a casual white shirt and blue denims. Shahid was spotted safely escorting Mira around the airport.
